Parent Satisfaction Surveys for Christian Schools

Gather parent feedback. Gain actionable insights. Make informed decisions.

Parent feedback is a superpower.

You’re committed to serving families well and creating an environment where students thrive. But without meaningful feedback, it’s hard to know what matters, what’s working, and what needs to change.

Unfortunately, many schools rely on anecdotal information or gut feelings, which can lead to:

  • Wasted resources as limited time and money go into initiatives parents don’t care about.
  • Lower retention rates when families quietly leave without ever voicing their concerns.
  • Missed word-of-mouth opportunities because you haven't identified or engaged your biggest fans.

Here’s the good news: When you truly understand parent perspectives, your school is empowered to make confident, strategic decisions that drive higher retention, stronger engagement, and more referrals.

We want to make that possible.

Where DIY Surveys Fall Short

Creating your own survey might seem like a cost-effective option, but without careful design and clear reporting, you may run into these common challenges:

  • Stunted Transparency: Parents may hold back honest feedback when surveys aren’t confidential.
  • Unreliable Data & Missed Insights: Poorly worded or biased questions can confuse parents, skew responses, and create a false picture of parent sentiment, leading to misinformed decisions.
  • Confusing or Overwhelming Results: Raw data isn’t enough. You need a way to make sense of that data.
  • Lack of Strategic Support: It’s hard to read the label from inside the jar.

A parent survey isn’t just about gathering responses—it’s about uncovering the insights needed to improve retention, engagement, and school growth.

Clearer data. Better decisions.

The Insights You Need to Make Strategic Improvements

Get answers to questions like…

How happy are our parents?

With an Overall Satisfaction Score, you'll get a clear picture of parent happiness across the entire school. We'll also share what the highly satisfied and highly dissatisfied people have in common.

How eager are they to tell others about us?

We'll calculate your Net Promoter Score (NPS) to reveal how likely parents are to recommend the school, giving a simple indicator of parent loyalty and word-of-mouth potential.

Who are our biggest fans?

We'll curate a list of potential promoters—those most likely to refer new families—to kickstart or fuel your efforts to cultivate advocates and amplify positive word-of-mouth.

What should we do next?

The Strategic Focus Matrix pinpoints what parents care about most and compares that to how effective the school is in those areas, ensuring that efforts are focused on things most likely to move the satisfaction needle.

You must be wondering…

The Standard Survey (with no customizations) is just $600.

We built this survey from the ground up with two guiding truths in mind:

  1. Christian schools must steward limited resources wisely.
  2. Conducting a Parent Satisfaction Survey annually—or at least every two years—is essential to building and sustaining a healthy Christian school.

We're proud to offer a cost-effective survey that maintains high standards, featuring a smooth user experience, reliable data collection, and clear reporting.

(If your school has 50-100 students, contact us for special small-school pricing. We’re committed to making the survey accessible for schools of all sizes.)

The entire survey process—from kickoff to debrief—can be completed in as little as one month.

Here’s how the timeline typically breaks down:

  • Week 1: You submit a request by filling out a short form. We’ll prepare your custom survey within 5 business days.
  • Weeks 2-3: During this period, the survey is live and collecting responses.
  • Week 4: We compile the results and review them with you during a 45-minute debrief call.

The survey is primarily designed for parents of currently enrolled students. However, other groups—such as teachers, grandparents, alumni, former parents, board members, and members of a sponsoring church—are also welcome to participate. Their responses will be segmented in your reports, allowing you to view insights by audience type. Hearing these broader perspectives often reveals valuable insights.

During onboarding, your school will provide a list of individuals who should receive the survey. We will generate a unique link for each person and share those links with you. This allows us to:

  • Track who has completed the survey
  • Send reminders to those who haven’t
  • Prevent duplicate responses
  • Ensure accurate results and a smooth experience for everyone involved

Yes—some customization is available! While the core questions remain consistent to allow for benchmarking across schools, you can add a few custom questions tailored to your community’s needs. Custom questions will also be included in your report for a small additional fee.

Interested in customizing your survey? Just contact us, and we’ll walk you through the options.

To maximize response rates, your involvement matters. While we handle the survey setup and provide templates to ease the process, the best results come when school leadership—especially the Head of School—personally communicates the value of the survey to parents.

This could be a brief email, a note in your weekly newsletter, or even a short video message. It doesn’t require much time, but a direct message from school leadership goes a long way in encouraging families to participate.
