Beyond the Launch
OCS needed a partner, not just a vendor. Someone who could guide them through the process, answer questions along the way, and hand them something they could actually use. That’s what this engagement was built to be.
Oskaloosa Christian School’s old website was built using a setup that wasn’t designed for non-technical users. Making basic updates required going back to the developer. The internal team had lost confidence in their ability to keep the site current, and the site showed it.
The technical frustration was only part of the problem. The site wasn’t telling their story well. Mismatched fonts, color irregularities, awkward layout breaks. It didn’t flow. Prospective families weren’t getting a true picture of OCS.

This was a robust, budget-minded engagement: content writing on key pages and a semi-custom design with clean lines, consistent branding, smooth page flow, and dynamic content that can grow with the school.
We also worked with OCS on their StoryBrand messaging, helping them clarify and articulate their story in a way that resonates with prospective families. That work shaped the content from the ground up, giving every page a clear through-line instead of a collection of disconnected information.
On the technical side, we rebuilt the site on WordPress, configured so their team can own and manage it without calling a developer.
